ADHD

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or Attention deficit disorder(ADD) is a neurodevelopmental brain disorder that primarily affects children but can persist into adulthood. Its impact can vary from person to person and characterized by difficulties with attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Individuals with ADHD may find it challenging to concentrate on tasks, follow instructions, and stay organized. They might also exhibit restlessness and impulsive behaviors. In adults, the symptoms of hyperactivity may decrease but struggles with impulsiveness, restlessness, and difficulty paying attention may continue.

While ADHD symptoms can be disruptive, with the right support, including behavioral therapy (psychotherapy) and, in some cases, medication, individuals with ADHD/ADD can learn to manage their symptoms effectively and lead productive lives.
